For non MONBEBE (fans), when you think about MONSTA X you must probably think about 'Hero', 'DRAMARAMA', or 'Shoot Out'. The group has amazing title tracks but their B-Side tracks are often underrated even if they are of excellent quality.

MONSTA X has an impressive discography since their debut in 2015 with songs of various genres and languages. Members are actively participating in the lyrics, composition, and production, most particularly WonHo, JooHoney, and I.M.

We made a difficult (yes, too many good songs to recommend) selection of 10 Korean B-Side tracks you need to listen to. Have you "been looking for the masterpiece"? Here they are.

1- 'Unfair Love' (반칙이야)

From: "The Clan Pt.1" 2016

You just have to listen to 'Unfair Love' once to sing "Na-na-na-na-na na-na-na-na-na" the next time. It is an addictive and exciting song about an ambiguous and upsetting relationship where the guy loves the girl but she is not giving a clear sign of her interest and is playing around.

This song would have made a popular title track.

2- 'I Do Love You' (널하다)

From: "Take.1 Are You There?" 2018

There are two versions of 'I Do Love You', the original one was first released during the "2018 MONSTA X 2nd World Tour" with WonHo, MinHyuk, and KiHyun as a unit. It entered the "Take.1 Are You There?" album with a group version.

Most of the people that does not know MONSTA X would think about beast-like stages, leather/sports outfits, and upbeat songs. However, this song proves that the group has produced songs of different genres and that they suit cute, fresh, and boyfriend vibe songs.

3- 'Underwater'

From: "Take.1 Are You There?" 2018

'Underwater' is a must-listen emotional song that highlights MONSTA X's vocal abilities with poetic lyrics. It tells the pain after breaking up and not being able to forget the past lover. The song is beautiful.

[...] Get me out, I'm underwater, I'm left alone in the dark and cold.

Save me, still underwater, stretch out your hand and give me breath.

4- 'Oh My!'

From: "Take.1 Are You There?" 2018

If you have a bad day or are searching for a good song to do exercise, this is it! You will want to bounce around listening to the song that will "wake up all your feeling". 'Oh My!' is a must-listen.

5- 'Fallin'

From: "The Connect: Dejavu" 2018

'Fallin' is an interesting song as its melody keeps on changing and it is truly addictive. You get 'drunk' but listening to this song.

Have a look at the concert stage where members are bringing up energy, jumping around, and shooting water (e.g. not in the video selected). If you like 'Fallin', you will love 'Rodeo' too.

6- 'Burn it Up'

From: "Follow: Find You" 2019

From the first listen, you will be bewitched. KiHyun's vocals make the song a masterpiece and a must-listen.

The lyrics of the songs also deserve your attention:

7- 'Lost in the Dream'

From: "The Connect: Dejavu" 2018

'Lost in the Dream' is a song that you will never get sick to hear. With high notes and soft rap, the song is melancholic and heart-breaking.

The lyrics of this song are also splendid.

"I am looking for you every night and I am wondering in the same dream.

Even if I want to stop, I can't break free from it.

It starts when the moon rises, the night keeps repeating always the same way.

After losing you who was my everything,

8- 'Give Me Dat'

From: "Take.2 We Are Here" 2019

An underrated song of MONSTA X that never misses giving the positive vibes everyone needs.

9- 'From Zero'

From: "The Code" 2017

'From Zero' is also another masterpiece. The song and lyrics can't be differentiated. Make sure to read the lyrics while listening.

10- 'Ready or Not'

From: "The Clan Pt. 2.5: The Final Chapter" 2017

'Ready or Not' makes you want to break it all, forget your issues, and live a powerful life. Today, are you lacking confidence? Listen to this song and you will feel better.

This song is also one of the rare B-side tracks of MONSTA X, you can sing in the noraebang (karaoke) in Korea. It is really giving fans strength.
