1st Step In Ending Long Fan War Between BTS & EXO After ARMY Apologizes For EXO-LAB Incident
Among some of the K-Pop fan wars that we know about, the ones between K-Pop idol groups BTS and EXO are arguably some of the longest and fiercest ones.
But it’s only natural since both groups are the most popular and influential ones within the industry, and K-Pop has a long history of having fan wars.
A while back during the time when the 33rd Golden Disk Awards were taking place, EXO’s online fan club EXO-LAB have been accused of using illegal voting methods to help EXO win first place.
The BTS fan who first played a big role in starting the wildfire recently wrote a public apology through Twitter. You can check it out below.

“Hello. I am the person who first wrote the comment on EXO-LAB’s account on January 6th. At the time, I heard about a fandom that used an illegal voting method and replied to the EXO-LAB administrator’s explanation by telling them to f*** off. I did this without even reading the administrator’s explanation. I did this without considering the possibility of identity theft of the phone numbers that have been used for the illegal voting method. I sincerely apologize to EXO-LAB for causing mental damage to them and also to the fans that support EXO-LAB. I did not know that what I said could potentially be a crime, but unfortunately, I hurt people with my words. Because many people would feel uncomfortable reading my comments, I have since then deleted them. Again, I apologize for the damage I have caused without understanding the explanation that was presented and will not repeat this mistake again in the future.”
The recent apology by an ARMY shows that there’s still hope for an end to the fan war between BTS an EXO in the future.
