While renewing a contract is always a sensitive issue within the K-Pop industry, boy band 2PM don't seem to be making too big a deal out of it. It was reported by the South Korean media that with the exception of TacYeon who is currently serving in the military, all the members have agreed to renew their contracts.
2017 was a year that marked the end of the majority of the second generation K-Pop girl groups. In such a cut-throat industry, it's hard for even idols to maintain a stable relationship with their agency.
The members of 2PM expressed their intent to stay loyal and unified with JYP Entertainment and promised fans to continue being active with all members present as soon as TacYeon finishes his military service in the future.
