        The drama is set in an irrational world where the “hip” revolt of young people -who are united in stubbornness and courage- starts. Itaewon seems to have condensed all the world. In this little street, they are looking for their own freedom based on their values. “Itaewon Class” is their foundation legend. They open a food-related business. Park SeoJoon and Kim DaMi are the lead actors of this JTBC drama which started on Jan. 31. It is available on Netflix.         There are only two episodes released but the actors' acting and the plot got us glued to our screen. There is a lot to talk about this new drama but this article will focus on 3 jaw-dropping scenes of the first two episodes due to perfect acting and impacting story.

         

        1- Funeral hall regrets

        The loss of family is a painful episode in someone's life and SaeRoy (Park SeoJoon) experienced the loss of his second parents at a young age.

        Under the shock of his father's passing, he said mature words at the funeral hall: "It's strange, but all I can remember is what I've gotten. I just took it for granted. Why did I take it for granted? I must've been crazy." Park SeoJoon's perfect acting skills conveyed the feelings of his character in this heartbreaking scene.

        2- "Die!"

        When he heard who was the culprit of the hit-and-run that killed his father (his only family), SaeRoy just went crazy with anger and distress. It was not an accident because GeunWon (Ahn BoHyun) did not call the emergency number and let his father die after he hit him with his car.

        After the shocking news, SaeRoy went to find GeunWon at the hospital. In a violent scene, he kept beating him while repeating "Die!". SaeRoy could not control his feelings and grabbed a stone to kill him. This is when SooAh (Kwon NaRa) appeared with the police and managed to stop him in a nerve-breaking scene. They managed to stop him.

        3- Twist the chicken neck

        This might be one of the most traumatic scenes in K-Dramas I have seen yet. The scene where the Jangga chairman (Yoo JaeMyung) taught his son GeunWon how he should think in order to be his successor is just disturbing.

        In the chicken coop, GeunWon already felt like vomiting with the smell. The father kept on forcing him to twist the chicken neck even though he refused. The father said "think of this chicken as SaeRoy", twist its neck and do not feel sorry. With fear and distress in his eyes, GeunWon twisted it after saying "SaeRoy is just livestock" in order to prove that he can overcome SaeRoy and can become his father's heir.
