On July 29, Mnet had officially announced that "Kingdom" will not be taking place in 2020. They mentioned that due to various reasons such as casting of the groups, the staff had been discussing various options and decided that it is the best to delay the survival show.
Instead, they have 3 other shows that are set to take place in the later half of 2020. Let's find out what they are!
#1 "I-LAND" Part 2
For those who do not know, CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment had come up with an audition program called "I-LAND" where they have the participants of the show go through various tests and divide them in two different categories.

The current "I-LAND" which is airing on Mnet can be considered as part 1 where 12 out of 23 trainees will be chosen to compete for the final debuting spot in part 2.
"I-LAND" part 2 will begin 2 weeks after part 1 ends.
#2 "Cap-Teen"

Through "CAP-TEEN", Mnet aims to provide the opportunities to those who have the dream of becoming a K-Pop idol and nurture them into the next star.
"CAP-TEEN" is seeking teenagers who are talented in various genres such as singing, dancing and rap, showing their talents in various fields. In particular, it is expected to show a fresh and energetic performance as it is the first stage to be presented to the world by teenagers with passion for music and infinite potential.
It is set to air some time in October.
#3 "Show Me The Money Season 9"
The series of the hip hop survival show has all along been a hit among hip hop lovers as many underground artists get the chance to show off their talent. With that being said, Mnet will be producing the 9th season of the show!
The exact timing of the broadcast is yet to be decided yet.
