3 Things We Know About ABØ, IST Entertainment's New Pre-Debut Boy Group

The balance survival show "THE ORIGIN - A, B, Or What?" created by IST Entertainment to find the members of their new boy group has come to an end. You can meet all of the contestants and learn more about them here.

The final debut lineup and group name ABØ were revealed, earning the excitement of K-Pop fans. They are set to debut in the second half of 2022.

We had previously written an article about 8 contestants from the show that were netizens' favorites. Check out which contestants were mentioned in this article. All 7 of the trainees who made the final lineup were included in that list.

Here are 3 things we know about the new IST Entertainment boy group, ABØ, so far.

1. The members

ABØ consists of members Jeong SeungHwan, Oh JunSeok, Seok RakWon, Ryu JunMin, Bae HyunJun, Yang DongHwa, and Kim YeonKyu. Each of these members were fan favorites during the show and made a huge impression on K-Pop fans with their incredible talents.

2. The group name meaning

The group name ABØ means, "At the Beginning of Originality". Their name is already foreshadowing that this group will bring a unique flavor to the K-Pop world. IST Entertainment emphasized the fact that they have a different charm that will appeal to the global K-Pop market.

3. Super rookie potential

The trainees all have serious talent that makes ABØ an obvious contender to be the next super rookie group. Although they started the show already full of star potential, each member has grown tremendously throughout the duration of the program. It should be exciting to see what they bring to the table when they debut.
