In what is his first series after discharge from the military, Park HyungSik has made a powerful comeback to the K-Drama scene with the thrilling apocalyptic series "Happiness". Starring alongside Han HyoJoo, "Happiness" is a story set in the new normal era where the threat of viral outbreaks looms large. SOU officer Yoon SaeBom moves to a new lush apartment building along with her friend Jung YiHyun and is finally happy that she has got her own home. But this doesn't last long when the Le Ciel flat complexes are forced into a 10-day lockdown after becoming a viral hotspot. What ensues is the struggle for survival as the residents from different backgrounds enter a war of nerves.
The crisp K-Drama came to a successful end last week with stellar performances from the ensemble cast. Park HyungSik was a terrific lead and portrayed his character with justice. Going back to some scenes that made us hold our breaths with a rollercoaster of emotions, we are picking some of the best moments of Park HyungSik in the drama.

1. Episode 3: Storage Truck Scene
We all held our breathe when SaeBom entered the storage truck, where the severely infected were kept, to save her friend Lee SeungYong (Lee KyungHyung). Tensions escalated when SaeBom is overrun by dozens of infectees and the military closes off the gates. But YiHyun manages to enter the scene in time to get SaeBom along with her colleague out of the freezer. This intense sequence of events was definitely one of the most memorable moments.
2. Episode 5: Vengeful outburst
This scene arguably is one of the best acted by Park HyungSik, showcasing his versatility and range. Jung YiHyun along with SaeBom and others go out of the apartment to collect some essentials like food and water and face an attack by the infected on their way back. On reaching the building entrance, the inmates including the resident representative Oh YeonOk (Bae HaeSun) and the notorious suspended doctor Oh JooHyeong (Cha SunBae) refuse to open the gate. Forcing their way in, YiHyun and SaeBom manage to get everyone inside but YiHyun is more than furious. He hits back at Oh and scares him by smothering his face with blood he claims to be of the infected people.
It was one of those moments when YiHyun's sensitive side becomes dominant from his calm demeanor and we know how he too can be scary if anyone puts people near him in danger.
3. Episode 7: "If you hurt SaeBom, I'll kill you"
We all are definitely swooning over Park HyungSik's action scenes from "Happiness" and he has crisply performed all the sequences. Adding to this ongoing collection is a moment from episode seven. Chasing after Col. Han TaeSeok's (Jo WooJin) car after he tranquilized SaeBom to take her to the facility to test her blood for antibodies, YiHyun is in the mood to kill. In an impressive stunt, he springs off the sidewall of the storage truck and landslides directly on TaeSeok's car, gun pointing towards the man behind the wheels saying, "If you hurt SaeBom, I'll kill you." Chills.
4. Episode 11: "Don't come too close"

This moment has collectively become a favorite for all "Happiness" viewers. In a dire and emotional state, When the two are attacked by the infected, SaeBom gets to know that YiHyun is also sick when she sees the wound on his chest while pulling him into the elevator. Noticing how the infected are ignoring him she is shocked but manages to get him inside the elevator. YiHyun apologizes to SaeBom for breaking their promise of telling each other if one is infected. YiHyun tells her not to come too close to him because he gets thirsty.
The emotions are heightened when SaeBom confesses that her heart is racing too because of her feelings for him. Park HyungSik gives a solid performance with his poignant delivery, making everyone overwhelmed with emotions.
