While there are stereotypes and misconceptions of an 'only child' or 'only children' being spoiled brats, it is most definitely not the guideline we had in mind when thinking of these idols. Why? Because it is only a stereotype and we know very well that these five K-Pop idols are known to be some of the most thoughtful and caring people in the world.
However, they really do look like well-to-do people that received all the love from their parents without having to compete with any siblings. While they may not fall into the negative stereotype of only children, they definitely do fall into the positive category of looking like they were the princesses of their household.
BLACKPINK member Jennie is quite well-known for having the perfect 'rich girl from a rich family' look. She reminds us of that gorgeous white house cat that lives in a mansion with everything in it.
Former Girls' Generation member SeoHyun is a great example of the stereotypical image of an only child daughter who grew up like a princess in a rich household as the parents' one and only precious daughter. Interestingly enough, she actually really is that very special only child.
Although not much is known about Sana's family background, disclosed information does tell us that the TWICE member is an only child. Born in Osaka, she was scouted by a JYP Entertainment agent while shopping with her friend. We don't know what it may be like in Japan, but she definitely fits the visual stereotype of an only child in South Korea.
K-Pop idol and actress YuRa is also an only child who clearly looks her part. While she is known best for being a member of Girl's Day, she has proven to be quite a popular actress as well. 'Radio Romance' is her latest appearance on the K-drama scene.
