        2022 was a year where a lot of things happened in the K-Pop scene. From departure, disbandment and hiatus, many groups also made their debut, some being really successful. If you are curious to learn about the groups which have made their debut in 2022, find out more below.

        Kpopmap has noticed that there are many groups confirmed to make their debut in 2023. Stay tuned to this article to find out who they are and when they will debut.

         

        1. tripleS

        [UPDATED] 61 New K-Pop Groups Who Debuted In 2023

        TripleS is a new group under MODHAUS that will establish the world's first fan-participating girl group. They are expected to be a 24-member group that combines NFTs with K-Pop. They will rotate members between the group and sub-units all based on fans' opinions. They have been said to debut in 2023. The TripleS sub-unit Acid Angel from Asia made its debut on Oct. 28. Their second sub-unit +(KR)ystal Eyes will be the next debut followed by a 10-member sub-unit. The group finally made their debut on February 13.

        KANDIS is a new group under 60DGRS. They released a pre-debut mixtape "Show Me Your Vibe" on March 14, 2022, and finally debuted on August 27.

        THE7 is a new group under Ganada Entertainment. The Thai members of the group were selected through a survival show. The group debuted on January 29.

        XODIAC is a new group under the Chinese company One Cool Jasco. The group has debuted in Korea on April 25.

         

        6. BXB

        WHIB is a new group under CJeS Entertainment. One of the members, InHong was a contestant on the TV Show "YG TREASURE BOX" alongside JinBeom. They debuted on November 8.

        n.SSign is a new group formed through the survival show "Stars Awakening". They are set to be active for two years, until they were able to finally debut on August 9.

        KQ Fellaz is a pre-debut group signed under KQ Entertainment. The agency announced the members of their pre-debut group last August 2022. They are said to be scheduled to debut on the first half of 2023.

        13. BABYMONSTER

        BABYMONSTER is a new girl group under YG Entertainment. The agency announced the new girl group last year, on December 30. Check out this article to know more about BABY MONSTER.

        Update: The group is debuted on November 27.

         

        14. RIIZE

        [UPDATED] 61 New K-Pop Groups Who Debuted In 2023

        SM Entertainment is said to debut a whole new boy group in 2023. The group is said to be debuting on the 2nd half of 2023. The speculated members are the new male SM ROOKIES.

        Update: SM Entertainment announced that they will be debuting RIIZE on September 4. They boy group will be debuting with 7 members, including former NCT members Shotaro and SungChan. 

         

        15. LUN8

        [UPDATED] 61 New K-Pop Groups Who Debuted In 2023

        Fantagio has announced that they aiming to debut their new group, LUN8, on the first half of this year. The label has revealed 8 trainees who will be debuting: Ian, JunWoo, Takuma, JinSu, EunSeop, Chael, Ji EunHo, and DoHyun.

        16. ZEROBASEONE

        Mnet is forming a boy group through "Boys Planet", the boy group version of the "Girl's Planet 999". The survival idol program will be broadcasting its first episode on February 23. However, the boy group formed after the program yet to be confirmed to be debuting in the same year.

        "GIRL'S RE:VERSE" is a idol survival show that aims to create a virtual girl group of 5 members. The survival program has 30 participants who dream to debut in a new world of virtual reality. The participants' names and identities are hidden, which is a fresh concept offered by the survival show. The girl group debuted on May 9.

        Update: The "GIRLS RE:VERSE" final debut group has been announced and so has their group name. Their group name will be FE:VERSE and you can read about which idols make up the group in this article.

         

        18. FANTASY BOYS

        "Fantasy Boys" or "My Teenage Boys" is an idol survival program to be launched by MBC. This program is the male version of the previous idol survival program "My Teenage Girls". The program is scheduled to start airing on February 2023. Unlike the group formed in the previous season, the final debut group is likely to work as a short-term project group. The group formed after the program wraps up not yet confirmed to debut within the same year.

        Update: The final debuting group from "Fantasy Boys" have been announced and the group will be called FANTASY BOYS. The debut date is not yet revealed but they are scheduled to debut within the year. Check out more information about FANTASY BOYS here.

        Update: FANTASY BOYS debuted on September 21.

         

        19. BOYNEXTDOOR

        KOZ Entertainment is also scheduled to debut a boy group in 2023. The agency has been said to be preparing for the debut of a boy group since the previous year, and it even held an audition program to find the perfect rapper for the said boy group. The boy group is slated to debut in the 1st quarter of 2023.

        Update: KOZ Entertainment has announced that their new boy group "BOYNEXTDOOR" is debuting on May 30.

         

        20. MAVE

        starting House mate is a pre-debut girl group under the starting House Entertainment. The agency announced that they will be debuting a girl group on 2022 but as they haven't made the debut, fans are expecting that 2023 will be their debuting year.

        23. PRIMROSE

        S2 Entertainment is reported to be debuting a girl group of 5 members, and it is rumored that former JYP trainee and "SIXTEEN" contestant Natty, Julie Han (Former YG & Swing trainee), and Belle (who composed (G)I-DLE MiYeon's tracks 'Softly' & 'Charging'; she also was behind the female vocals for NCT Mark's Child) will be part of their lineup. There are no annoucement of the exact date of their debut.

        Update: KISS OF LIFE has debuted in July 5 with 4 members, including the 3 mentioned trainees above, and HaNeul.

         

        25. MOONCHILD

        A girl group produced by CDL Entertainment, and co-produced by HYBE Labels Japan is scheduled to debut in 2023.         Update: The girl group from audition program "iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~" will be debuting as MOONCHILD, with 5 members - Ruan, Uwa, Anri, Hana, and Mirano. They officially debuted on May 3.

         

        26. YOUNG POSSE

        BEATS Entertainment is also expected to be debuting a girl group after the management agency accepted applications to audition in 2021. Further information is yet to be revealed by the agency.

        Update: BEATS Entertainment and DSP debuted YOUNG POSSE on October 18.

        Catch The Young (formerly know as Evermore The Young) is a trainee boy band under Evermore Entertainment. The currently members of the band are NamHyun, KiHoon, and SaNi. The group was expected to debut in 2022 but since they haven't debuted yet, fans are speculating that the band will be debuting in 2023.

        Update: The band debuted on November 1.

         

        29. X:IN

        X:IN is a 5-member girl group under ESCROW Entertainment. The girl group has made their debut on April 11, and the debut members are RoA, Chi.U, E.sha, Nova, and Aria.

        30. HORI7ON

        HORI7ON is a 7-member boy group debuting under MLD Entertainment. The group was formed through the survival program "Dream Maker," which was broadcast on Philippine television in 2022. The boys debuted in the Philippines on March 22, and are scheduled to debut in Korea in July 24. 

         

        31. The Wind

        CMDM is a new boy group under Command The-M Entertainment. The boys debuted on April 27.

         

        33. Blossom

        Rainbow E&M debuted Blossom, one of the teams that participated in "Future Idol," an idol development project by company. They debuted on July 21.

         

        34. POW

        GRID Entertainment is reported to debuting a boy group in the latter half of 2023. Former Trainee A's Yorch Yongsin was announced to have joined the agency, and is said to be part of the debuting boy group.

        Update: POW debuted on October 11 with their mini album "Favorite."

         

        35. EVNNE

        After their participation in the idol survival program "Boys Planet," the WAKEONE trainees are speculated to be debuting in 2023 as well. There are no official announcements as to whether the 4 trainees will be joined by more trainees.

        Update: "Boys Planet" trainees Keita, Park HanBin, Lee JeongHyeon, Yoo SeungEon, Ji YunSeo, Mun JungHyun, and Park JiHoo are announced to be debuting as part of the boy group EVNNE. The group's activities will be managed by Jellyfish Entertainment. The group debuted on September 19.
