5 Moments From "Honeymoon Tavern" That Made Us Fall In Love With EXO's Kai Over Again

"Honeymoon Tavern" is a currently ongoing variety show on tvN where a group of top celebrities, including Kim HeeSun, Tak JaeHoon, Yoo TeO, Moon SeYoon and EXO's Kai run an adorable little tavern in Udo Islands to serve as a special honeymoon spot for newly married couples who haven't been able to have a proper honeymoon due to COVID-19 restrictions. The group is responsible for coming up with new and unique menus for every day, getting ingredients, cooking, serving, preparing refreshments, and so on, in order to make the experience for the newlywed guests as special as possible.

Actress Kim HeeSun is the barkeep of the tavern, Tak JaeHoon is the manager, Yoo TeO is the main chef, Moon SeYoon is the all-rounder and Kai is the maknae ace. Other celebrities such as Ryu DeokHwan and SG WANNABE's SeokHoon also appear as "interns" or "part-timers", which is what Kai calls them.

1. When he paid special attention to a pregnant guest

On the very first episode of "Honeymoon Tavern", a newlywed couple who were expecting, appeared as guests. Every guest was being welcomed with a special welcome tea so Kai took to the couple to ask them if the pregnant woman would be alright with having the welcome tea since there might be restrictions that he doesn't know about. The couple seemed to be touched by Kai's attention and fans couldn't help gushing over him either!

2. When he mastered making towel swans

Right off the bat, Kai was responsible for checking the rooms, setting up a nice ambiance, and preparing the romantic towel swans. He was so good at it that he took pride and joy in his work. When he had to teach the other members how to fold the towels into swans, he carefully and patiently showed them how he got them to be so perfect. It was adorable and heartwarming to see him boast about his talent.

3. When he helped a guest propose

Perhaps one of the best moments in the show so far was when Kai helped a guest propose to his significant other. Not only did he find the perfect spot for him to propose but he also secretly tagged along to make sure everything was going according to plan and that the couple got some sweet pictures taken. Later on, he continued his act of not knowing anything about it even when everyone else knew. Kai truly made the episode a special one.

4. When he made dinner for the team after a long day

After a long day of hard work, when the guests had all retired to their rooms, the team finally got some time to relax and enjoy dinner. While everyone was equally tired, Kai stepped up to cook some delicious steak for them while they rested. It was a moving gesture that was much appreciated and everyone was able to end their day with their hearts and stomachs full.

5. Every time he woke up with a bedhead

On every episode, except for the ones where he wasn't there, Kai woke up in the tavern with an adorable messy head of hair and flushed cheeks, indicative of a good night's sleep. While Yoo TeO hiked and exercised, Kai admired him from afar and slowly but steadily got ready to seize the day. We can't help but swoon over how cute he looks!
