Most of the time when you think of solo K-Pop idols, you would probably think that they are Koreans as they can speak and understand their language well. However, they are also some solo K-Pop idols who are actually non-Korean!
It is not common and easy to see them promote in another language and country but here are 5 of them who are changing the K-Pop industry.

Looking at her name, you can already tell that Yukika is from Japan! Previously, she was part of ‘Real Girls Project’ and had also appeared on JTBC “Mixnine”.
Not long ago in February, she had also made her solo debut with ‘NEON’! Thanks to her cute and petite figure, she is receiving lots of love from her fans!
Do you know that Henry is of Hong Kong and Taiwanese descent? He is actually also the first solo artist to debut 13 years after the solo debut of veteran singer, KangTa under SM Entertainment. His solo debut track, ‘TRAP’ featured Super Junior‘s KyuHyun and SHINee ‘s TaeMin.
Since then, he had been spending time producing songs, various individual schedules and also appearing on several variety shows such as MBC “I Live Alone”.
#3 f(x) ‘s Amber
We also have Amber whose parents are Taiwanese and was born and raised in Los Angeles. Many fans love her unique personality and style when she first debuted under f(x).
Some time later, she had also debuted as a solo artist with her album “Beautiful” and title track ‘Shake That Brass’ which featured Girls’ Generation‘s TaeYeon.
While being active in Korea for various individual activities, she has also signed with another agency that handles her activities in the U.S. too.
#4 Zhou Mi
For long time K-Pop fans, you would recall Zhou Mi who had first appeared as a member of Super Junior M like Henry. He is from Wuhan, China and famous for winning several singing competition before joining the company.
He made his first solo debut back in 2014 with title track ‘Rewind’ that featured EXO ‘s ChanYeol, blowing away the public’s mind with his powerful vocal and accurate Korean pronunciation.
Lana would be the latest addition to the list of foreign K-Pop artists! From Russia, she is set to debut at the end of June.
She has been gaining the interest of many mainly because of the fact that she will be debuting as a solo artist and not part of a girl group. With that, many are wondering her skills and anticipating for her debut.
