Ever since 2020, many people had suffered because of the worldwide pandemic. This includes K-Pop idols as well as K-Pop fans.

K-Pop events had to be held online and new K-Pop groups which had later debuted still did not have the chance to meet their fans in real life!

While it is definitely an unfortunate situation, below are 5 things that we thought K-Pop fans have been missing.

1. World tours and KCON

The first thing that came to everyone's mind would probably be the world tours and performances taking place overseas!

K-Pop idols get to tour different parts of the world and create some of the best memories. K-Pop fans living outside of Korea would also finally get the chance to watch their favourite idols perform in front of them.

During concerts, K-Pop idols get to show off various sides of them through specially prepared solo stages and unit performances too.

In addition, there is also KCON where fans get to enjoy not just the live performances, fansigns and even experience the Korean culture.

We can't wait for the day where K-Pop fans can gather and cheer on their favourite idols.

2. University and summer festivals

Did you know that in Korea, many K-Pop groups head down to university during the spring and autumn festival as special guests?

This was the time where legendary fancams were born, allowing K-Pop idols to rise in fame.

Also, there are many special music festivals that take place in summer. Not just K-Pop fans, music lovers also join in the fun by enjoying the live performances.

3. Offline fansigns

Although some K-Pop groups are opening up offline fansigns, many are taking precautions by having a clear divider between the fan and the idol.

One thing we miss about offline fansign is also the fact that you get to interact with the idols in a safe environment through handshaking or even a friendly high-five!

4. ISAC

If you have been a K-Pop fan for some time, you would know about the annual ISAC (Idol Sports Athletes Championship) take place during 'Seollal' and 'Chuseok'.

A large number of K-Pop groups would gather and compete in various sports categories. At the same time, fans also get to sit in and watch the recording of the competitions.

During this time, K-Pop idols get to interact with their fans and fans also cheer on their idols with loud support and encouragement. Many fans also witness the friendship between K-Pop idols from different groups.
