Goo Hara & Choi JongBum’s Sex Tape And Assault Scandal
The scandal involving actress Goo Hara and her ex-boyfriend Choi JongBum pretty much shook up South Korea and is still ongoing. Both claimed to be victims of assault during an altercation that took place when Choi was breaking up with the actress after discovering that she lied about who she was meeting for lunch. Both had visible signs of injuries, Choi having scars on his face and Goo Hara having bruises all over her arm and legs. Goo Hara was also seen kneeling in front of Choi in a CCTV footage, and it has been alleged that she was begging him not to leak a sex tape that they filmed during their relationship. Choi has so far denied the accusation.
TST KyeongHa Exposed For Sexual Harassment
Incidents involving sexual harassment has been appearing more frequently within the K-Pop scene. And it was even more shocking when K-Pop fans discovered that TST member KyeongHa was guilty of sexually harassing a girl before his debut. He was eventually expelled from the group.
The East Light Abused For Nearly Four Years
Who would have known what these idols were going through all this time? The nation was in shock when it discovered that The East Light members were being physically abused by a producer in their agency Media Line Entertainment. On some occasions, band leader Lee SukChul claimed that the producer would strangle them with electric guitar wires and beat them with baseball bats, causing bloody injuries to the head. The idol also claimed that CEO of Media Line Entertainment, Kim ChangHwan, was aware that these abuses were ongoing, but never intervened.

Death Of DongYoon Of SPECTRUM
Rookie K-Pop idol group SPECTRUM were devastated when one of its members, DongYoon, suddenly passed away at the young age of 20. The cause of death has not been revealed to this day.
