GINGER
One of the biggest K-Pop groups and perhaps, the largest musical act in the world, NCT is home to some of the most talented artists in the K-Pop industry. With members ranging in nationality from Korean, Korean-American, Korean-Canadian, Chinese, Thai and Japanese, there is no dearth of possibilities, talent and of course, visuals in this group. Each member has their unique charms and quirks that fans can't help swooning over. NCT might as well be the K-Pop group where it's the hardest for a fan to choose a bias.
With all the members worthy of praise and appreciation, today we're talking about NCT's resident anime prince, Yuta.
1. Playing with water on Johnny's Communication Centre
One of the most adorable on-screen moments when it comes to Yuta was definitely his appearance on Johnny's Communication Centre, also known as JCC, the iconic Youtube series by the eponymous Johnny himself.
He was seen playing with water, splashing it around playfully, having the time of his life. Without a doubt, this episode has to be one of the best JCC episodes ever!
2. Debuting the red hair
During their 'Superhuman' promotions, a lot of the NCT members experimented with their aesthetic adding appearance. However, one look that particularly caught the eye was definitely Yuta's red-haired ponytail.
More specifically, Yuta had his bangs loose on the front and the hair around the crown of his head tied in a ponytail turned bun. The look was so iconic that it instantly went viral and rightfully so! Ultimately, it came to be known in the fandom as "190614 Yuta" signifying the date that Yuta debuted the look.
3. Simon Says Yuta is a cutie
One of the most highly anticipated comebacks of NCT by far was undoubtedly the one with 'Simon Says'. Not only was the song an absolute banger, the choreography, the set design, the vocals, everything was top-notch. Another eye-catching element with this comeback was of course, the fashion.
Every member had a unique look that commanded attention. However, one specific member took everyone's breath away: Yuta. With his hair pulled back in a sleek manner, giving him a clean edge, Yuta sported a semi skirt around his waist over his trousers and a white collared shirt. Not only was this a bold look, it also looked unbelievably pretty on him. We will never forget 'Simon Says' era Yuta.
4. The Pepero game
Yuta has always been known for being blunt, straightforward forward and playfully yet brutally honest right from the time of his debut. He also has a tendency to love teasing his fellow members, leaving them flustered.
During an episode of Studio K's "BOATTA", Yuta was given the privilege to choose a penalty game, which turned out to be the infamous Pepero game. In a truly surprising plot twist, Yuta chose himself and Mark as the candidates for the game. What followed was pure chaos and hilarity!
5. Every time he smiles
One of the first things a new fan is most likely to notice about Yuta and remember him by is definitely his smile. Yuta truly has one of the most distinctive smiles in the world and it keeps getting more and more adorable the bigger he smiles and the happier he is. As such, it is near impossible not to smile back at the screen when we see him smile. We hope Yuta keeps smiling just as brightly forever!
