If you’re into the K-Drama scene, you likely know that many popular K-Dramas are based on K-Webtoons. From dramas such as “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty” and “All Of Us Are Dead” to “Business Proposal” and “Love Alarm,” the original source material comes from webtoons. Below are 6 upcoming K-Drama adaptations to look out for! If you haven’t read these webtoons yet, it’s time to snuggle up with a warm blanket and get started now!

1. “Moving” Season 2
The first season of “Moving,” based on the webtoon of the same name by Kang Full, follows a group of high school students and their parents who have superpowers. Kim BongSeok (Lee JungHa) can fly, Jang HuiSoo (Go YounJung) has rapid healing abilities, and Lee GangHun (Kim DoHoon) has super strength. As these high school students try to conceal their gifts from the outside world, their parents fight to keep them from being exploited by those who see them as weapons. Season 2 will pick up where Season 1 left off, continuing the exploration of the superheroes and their powers while likely introducing new characters.

2. “Study Group” / Schedule Status: January 22, 2025
Based on the webtoon of the same name by Shin HyungWook and Ryu SeungYeon, “Study Group” is about a high school student named Yoon GaMin (Hwang MinHyun) who wants to get into college but attends a school dubbed “the school for future criminals.” He forms a study group, but when one of his friends gets bullied, GaMin, who appears timid and weak, uses his fighting skills to protect his friends.

3. “The Witch” / Schedule Status: February 15, 2025
Written by author Kang Full, “The Witch” is a story about a man named Lee DongJin (Park JinYoung of GOT7) who falls in love with a woman called “a witch.” Park MiJeong (Roh JeongEui) has been deemed as someone who brings misfortune to others after several strange things happened around her. DongJin, who used to be classmates with MiJeong, attempts to find the truth and uncover the mystery surrounding MiJeong.
4. “Cashero”
Written by Lee Hoon and illustrated by No HyeOk, “Cashero” follows three individuals with unique superpowers, Kang SangWoong (Lee JunHo of 2PM), Bang EunMi (Kim HyangGi), and Byeon HoIn (Kim ByungChul). SangWoong gets stronger the more money he has, EunMi has telekinesis that is fueled by the amount of calories she eats, and HoIn’s superpower comes from alcohol. Using their extraordinary abilities, the three work together to protect the people around them.

5. “Mercy For None”
Based on the webtoon “Plaza Wars” by Oh SeHyung and Kim KyunTae, “Mercy for None” is a story of a man named Nam KiJoon (So JiSub) who was once at the top of the gang pyramid but left to avoid fighting his brother, Nam KiSeok (Lee JunHyuk), who was in an enemy group. However, 15 years later, KiSeok is killed on the eve of his retirement. KiJoon swears to find his brother’s killer, going back into gang wars and behind enemy lines.

6. “ Low Life”
Adapted from the webtoon “The Hooligans” by Yoon TaeHo, “Low Life” follows Oh HeeDong (Yang SeJong) and his uncle Oh GwanSeok (Ryu SeungRyung) as they search for treasure in the ocean to escape their life of crime. However, as other criminals and treasure hunters get a whiff of the rumors and begin to arrive, the uncle and nephew pair end up having something new to worry about.
