Webtoons are growing to be an incredibly popular form of media with more and more people being drawn to the same. With the rise of Korean drama adaptations, millions of K-Drama fans are naturally curious about the original source material. This has led to even more webtoons being adapted into live-action dramas and ultimately, we get the best of both worlds!

Webtoons have effectively removed biases people have against comics, especially when it comes to aesthetics, excitement, and expressions, and have done so in an attractively novel way. At times, the webtoons themselves are more thrilling and captivating than their live counterparts.

So, if you haven't plunged into this whole new world yet, allow us to introduce you to some of our favourite webtoons that we would love to see get a drama adaptation.

If you're more of a melodrama person but you're also tired of the cookie-cutter romances, this webtoon is for you. The author sincerely fleshes out her characters and follows through with her preface and as such, the story leaves a bittersweet taste. There's no sunshine and rainbows here but that is exactly what makes it even more human. Human dramas are aplenty in the Korean entertainment industry and they're executed supremely well, which makes us think that if "My Boo" were to be adapted, it would truly be a great watch.
