        Male idol groups covering girl group songs are always entertaining to watch. While it is always fun to watch many of our favorite male idols covering female group's songs on stage or in variety shows, it is always so clear the amount of hard work and practice they put into delivering these exciting performances. 

        Sometimes cute and adorable, other times fierce and powerful, here are some of the male idols groups / members who have thrilled fans and viewers with their covers performances of girl groups.

         

        1. 00's - Red Velvet's 'Psycho'

        For the Music Bank "Half Year Special" in 2020, we got a collab stage performance from Stray kids' HyunJin, AB6IX's Lee DaeHwi, Golden Child's BoMin, and ASTRO's Yoon SanHa. The idols covered Red Velvet's 'Psycho'. Each idol with his own unique qualities came together in beautiful harmony to deliver one of the most iconic stage collaborations we've seen yet.

         

        2. TO1 - aespa's 'Next Level'

         

        During their set at "KCON:TACT HI 5", TO1 flawlessly delivered a stage performance of Aespa's hit song 'Next Level'. Their attention to detail is quite remarkable as they made sure to add every single point of the original version while also adding their own unique feel and style to the stage performance. And can we take a moment to appreciate KyungHo's iconic moves at 3:42 mins? 

         

        3. ONEUS' SeoHo and LeeDo - BLACKPINK's 'Lovesick Girls'

         

        For this cover of BLACKPINK's 'Lovesick Girls' SeoHo and LeeDo showed off their impressive creativity and musical skills. SeoHo's vocals were outstanding, flawlessly hitting notes similar to the original version and LeeDo flows were amazing as always but his vocals might shock many viewers, who probably haven't really heard him sing as much. His vocals and the rich texture of his tone were absolutely beautiful.

         

        4. WEi - Red Velvet's Irene and SeulGi 'Monster'

         

        For "KCON:TACT HI 5", WEi gave us this thrilling and sensational stage performance cover of Red Velvet's Irene and SeulGi's song 'Monster'. Which left fans in awe, with many viewers complimenting how great of a stage performer the idol group was. Their execution of this performance was masterful. The sensual concept fit with the breathtaking dance moves and the soulful vocals, their stylish looks which highlighted their stunning visuals, and their captivating facial expressions that peaks your interest during the performance. All these elements were present during this stage cover performance.

         

        5. GOT7 - Apink's 'Mr. Chu'

         

        This was an utterly fun performance cover and a memorable one for fans. Cute, funny, and absolutely entertaining, GOT7 performed a cover of Apink's 'Mr. Chu' showing off their adorable and endearing sides much to the cheers and excitement of fans and viewers. It is almost like watching each member do the "aegyo" for almost 3 minutes.

         

        6. THE BOYZ - TWICE's 'What Is Love'

         

        THE BOYZ members are world-class performers whose ability to light up every stage for any kind of performance is remarkable. Their detailed to perfection stages are something to be inspired by. While adding their unique style to the performances, for the most part, they always stay true to the character and nature of the song or its choreography. Not shying away from fully immersing themselves in this stage performance cover of TWICE's 'What Is Love', they executed their craft perfectly, amidst the cheers and screams of excitement from fans. 

         

        7. BTS' JungKook and J-Hope - Red Velvet's 'Russian Roulette' 

         

        Both idols are known globally for their impeccable dance skills and this dance cover of Red Velvet's 'Russian Roulette' shows just how diverse their talents are and how they can fit into any concept. Cute, funny and, sassy, they entertained fellow members, hosts, and viewers of the show, by perfectly pulling off these dance moves.
