There's a new survival program heating up and that's none other than JTBC's "Peak Time"! The show is different than other survival programs due to the fact that its contestants consists of already debuted male idol groups. These idols are either currently active or on a hiatus/disbanded.

One thing that they all have in common is their undying passion and drive to become the next global sensation. However, they are unable to promote with their group name until they reach the top 6 of the competition. In the meantime, each team will be referred to as a different hour in the day.

Starting from the survival round, the contestants bared it all on stage and have already captured the hearts of viewers, bringing much excitement and anticipation for what's to come. While all groups were amazing, making fans and non-fans proud, only a few received a unanimous vote from the judges or were just one off from that impressive feat. With the song's sentimental lyrics coupled with their remarkable harmonization, MASC created an unforgettable stage, showing that they still have what it takes to become world-renowned idols.

2. Team 08:00 (DKB) - ATEEZ's 'The Real (Heung Ver.)'

ATEEZ are known for their explosive performances, that it can often be hard for other groups to match their energy. But DKB not only replicate it, they go above and beyond, making 'The Real (Heung Ver.)' their very own. Not only are they passionate, but they have the talent to back it up. From rap, vocals, and dance, they check off all the boxes necessary and prove they're a force to be reckoned with. If this is but a taste of their potential, we cannot wait to see what they cook up in future rounds.

3. Team 11:00 (VANNER) - SEVENTEEN's 'Adore U'

VANNER is a group of working-dols who show that they still have what it takes to pursue a career in music. Although all the members are currently working part-time jobs to make ends meet, their situation does not stop them from stepping up to the challenge. They absolutely crush their first stage and leave everyone completely speechless. Knowing their story and seeing their skills, you cannot help but root for the passionate idol group.

4. Team 15:00 (BLK) - MONSTA X's 'Beautiful'

One word can describe this performance: beautiful. BLK start off with their stable, clear vocals but the vibe changes up completely with some impressive aerobatics. They maintain the tension in their performance from start to finish, causing even their fellow contestants to erupt in cheers. They certainly do justice to the amazing track, making both their fans and MONBEBE proud.

5. Team 20:00 (M.O.N.T) - Park JinYoung's 'FEVER'

Park JinYoung has a mastery over the swing genre that not many are able to replicate. But with their extensive stage experience, M.O.N.T. show a performance worthy of endless praise. Although it's only two of them, they fill the stage completely and maintain a perfect balance between impressive vocals and charismatic rap. You will definitely feel the heat rising from this amazing performance!

6. Team 23:00 (DGNA) - TVXQ's 'Mirotic'

TVXQ are a legendary idol group with an iconic discography. That is why the judges were apprehensive upon seeing DGNA's song selection, worried that they would not be able to do the song justice. However, DGNA were able to put their concerns to rest with their stellar performance! Many netizens even commented that this was the best, if not one of the best, covers of 'Mirotic' they had ever seen! Expectations are high, but many are excited for what DGNA brings to the table next.

7. Moon JongUp - SEVENTEEN's 'Anyone'

Many were surprised to see the widely recognized idol appear on the survival competition program. Although Moon JongUp was unable to stand on the stage with the rest of B.A.P, he did not allow that fact to deter him from taking up another challenge. From his stage presence to his dance lines, everything about him just draws you in. It's undeniable that he is a natural born performer and can fill the stage all on his own. You cannot help but cheer for JongUp and hope that he goes far in the competition.
