Many actors are given praise for their performance as main leads or as a supporting role. These roles are often made to be the hero of the story and lean towards the side of good in the pursuit of justice. But in order for these K-Drama heroes to stand out, there must be a villain opposing them.

Usually, K-Drama villains exude a natural aura of evil or at least provide clear hints throughout the story. But if we've learned anything from actors like Ok TaecYeon in "Vincenzo" or Lee SeungGi in "Mouse", sometimes these villains aren't as obvious. These baddie reveals come as a complete surprise due to their alluring charms and previous roles as the 'good guy'.

When a villain is able to trick everyone, including the viewers, you know that the drama is bound to be a hit. Now, let's take a look at some actors who we would love to see play the villain.

        1. Song JoongKi

Song JoongKi's role in "Vincenzo" would be the closest to a villain. However, his character proved to be more anti-hero than the series main baddie. With his tenure in the entertainment industry and proven skills as a top actor, we are certain he would perfectly nail being the central evil.

        2. Park SeoJun

We know that Park SeoJun is set to enter the Marvel Universe and there's potential that he could become a world-renowned superhero. But wouldn't it be exciting if he shed off his glamorous cape for the shoes of a big baddie? Park SeoJun has played a variety of roles, from loveable underdog to handsome heartthrob. Due to his previous roles, he would bring the perfect shock factor as a villain. Now that's a surprise we'd gladly welcome.

        3. Ji ChangWook

        ARENA HOMME

Ji ChangWook is able to fit into a spectrum of genres. He's done everything from comedy, romance, and action. Then, through his performance in "If You Wish Upon Me", he's shown that he's able to take on a more serious role of a troubled young man, Yoon GyeoRee. GyeoRee's past would have been the perfect setup for a villain origin story. The potential for Ji ChangWook to play the villain is there and we can't help but imagine his brilliance.

        4. Seo KangJoon

        ELLE

Seo KangJoon's characters are often sweet, innocent, and well-mannered. If stealing hearts were a crime, his roles could all be considered top tier villains. But that's what makes his potential as a big baddie so great. Seo KangJoon could trick everyone with his devilish good looks and lure them into an elaborate trap. With his excellent acting, he could definitely make it onto a list of villains we did not expect.

        5. Jung HaeIn

Jung HaeIn successfully made his mark in the K-Drama world through his boy-next-door image. His characters were often sweet, loveable, and well-received by the public. Most notably, his role in "Something in the Rain" earned him the title of 'Nation's Younger Brother' as he stole the hearts of noonas across the country. The closest he's ever gotten to playing a villain is through his character in "Prison Playbook", Captain Yoo JungWoo. Through this role, he made an impressive impact on viewers everywhere, so many are curious what it would be like if he played an actual villain!

        6. Park HyungSik

        ELLE

Park HyungSik's characters are often swoon worthy because of his boyish good looks and smoldering gaze. But through action-packed thriller, "Happiness", we see that not even K-Drama heartthrobs are safe from zombification. Although his status as a zombie was only temporary, it makes you consider how Park HyungSik would act as an actual monster—or in this case, a real villain. We would probably become one of his first victims, falling for his irresistible charms.

        7. ASTRO's Cha EunWoo

Cha EunWoo exploded in popularity through his appearances in "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" and "True Beauty". His characters had a pleasant twist of being big balls of fluff once they shed their tough, outer shell. Using these roles' cold and mean demeanor as a baseline, Cha EunWoo could very well transition into a big time villain. It would be mindboggling to see him revealed as the surprise criminal mastermind in a thrilling crime series. Oh, the terror that could be hiding behind that warm smile.
