A Voice Recording Allegedly Speaking Of Rigging ‘Produce X 101’ Surfaces
With the investigations still ongoing regarding the vote-rigging accusations surrounding Mnet’s survival program ‘Produce X 101’, South Korean news agency JoongAng Ilbo recently released an article that stated that a voice recording that contained a conversation about rigging the votes for ‘Produce X 101’ has been discovered.
A cyber crime investigations team raided the headquarters of CJ E&M on July 31st. Among the evidence that they were able to retrieve contained an audio recording inside a phone belonging to one of the production staff member. According to the reports, the recording allegedly contained talks that directly spoke of rigging votes.
Where this will lead to next remains yet to be seen.
Mnet responded to the vote rigging accusations by stating that the staff members in charge of calculating the votes used a method the percentages were rounded up by two decimal places, and the results that followed were shown during the broadcast.
