        Cafe Daum

        App Store / Play Store

        Free Usage: Yes

About: Idols' Fan Cafes are the very first communication platform that was created outside of regular SNS. It is mostly made for Korean fans as all the instructions are in Korean and do not always have a translation option, however, international fans can still join. The Fan Cafe is entirely free of use, fans just have to level up to be able to access idols' posts and other boards. The level-up is possible after completing a set of questions about the group/artist created by the agency's staff. There are guidelines posted along with the questions to answer, after answering them according to the guidelines, the fan will be leveled up by the staff and most of the fan cafe's boards will be accessible. However there are also boards for membership holders, once again, only those who purchased the membership can access them. However, on the fan cafe, there is another step to do for membership holders. Another level-up is needed in order to change status from regular fan to official fan and then have access to the membership content. If a fan failed to register despite buying the membership, then he/she/they won't access the membership boards. The fan cafe includes many more boards than any other platform as it is including a schedule board, an event board for fans to participate in various events, there are also boards with the artists' SNS and many more that varies depending on the fan cafe.

Artists on Fan Cafe: every artist is on a separate fan cafe, you have to search for a specific artist in order to have his fan cafe appear on your page. Normally all artists have one, except for JYP artists.
