ARMY Thinks Taylor Swift K-Popfied Her Recent Album After Being Inspired By BTS
US pop star Taylor Swift recently released her album ‘Lover’ and BTS’s fandom, ARMY, suspects that the singer was inspired by BTS’s album packaging.
Well the artwork definitely seems somewhat similar and also because the packaging also included photo cards, something usually seen in the K-Pop scene.
However, South Korean Taylor Swift fans were quick to point out that Taylor Swift has always packaged her albums in the same way and there were small merchandises and photo cards that were included even in releases dating back to 2012, when BTS weren’t as popular as they are today.
“Taylor has always released limited edition album packages and sets ever since 2012! Photo cards and other goods have always been included. While it is true that BTS’s influence is great nowadays, it’s unlikely that there are any connections.”
So simply put, it seems that Taylor Swift was doing things that were usually done only in K-Pop ever since 2012 and, no, she didn’t get inspired by BTS or K-Pop per say when including photo cards.
