The 2nd Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA 2025) is officially kicking off its voting race.
ASEA 2025 is organized by Newsen, Korea’s leading entertainment and sports media outlet celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and @style, a star and style magazine marking its 13th anniversary. The ASEA organizing committee is in charge of the event, which will take place on May 28 and 29 in Tokyo, Japan.
On March 18th, the ASEA organizing committee announced that the first round of official voting will take place from March 18th at 11 AM to April 6th at midnight (KST). This year, the proportion of fan votes in the selection process has been increased, allowing fans to actively participate in selecting the award winners by voting for nominees in each category during this period. Fans can participate through the voting apps IDOLCHAMP, My 1 Pick, and PODOAL.
The committee also revealed the criteria for selecting nominees in each category. For the singer categories, all songs and albums released between March 1, 2024, and February 28, 2025, will be considered. Meanwhile, for the actor categories, nominees will be selected from artists who appeared in dramas, OTT content, or films released during the same period.
The voting results will be compiled by aggregating votes from all three apps and will be updated every Monday at 12 PM on the ASEA official website.

What Are The Categories? 🏆
Voting will be conducted across a total of 13 categories, including: The Best Group, The Best Solo, The Best Trot, The Best New Artist, The Best OST, Fan Choice Artist, Fan Choice Couple, Fan Choice 5th Generation, Fan Choice Character, and more.
Notably, the Fan Choice Awards (Singer) and Fan Choice 5th Generation Artist categories will be decided 100% by fan votes through the Final Round of the Main Voting, including on-site voting at the awards ceremony. Intense competition among global fandoms is expected.
