2018 was a year filled with great solo performances from female K-Pop idols.

Whether it was an official solo release or a solo stage during a group concert, we were impressed with how talented each and every one of them were.

Below are our favorite picks of 2018!

Jennie (BLACKPINK) - SOLO

One thing is for sure. YG Entertainment and BLACKPINK never fail to deliver. We've never once doubted the agency's and Jennie's competence in contents that they release. The MV was simply sublime and 'SOLO' the song itself is an undeniable bop that will have you playing it on repeat for days.

HyoLyn - Dally

Not only was the song produced by AOMG's Gray one of the most lit tunes we've heard this year, her performance for 'Dally' is also something new that we've wanted to see in the K-Pop scene for a very long time. No one does the sexy concept better than HyoLyn.

Jessi -Down

We were waiting when Jessi would make that big move to get herself deeper into the mainstream K-Pop scene. And we got our wish this year. The MV for 'Down' is self explanatory. The queen definitely knows what she's doing and we can't wait for more in 2019.
