On March. 10, the news of Big Hit Entertainment changing its name to HYBE Corporation has caused many fans to be shocked as the name 'Big Hit' is well loved by many of them.
Some were confused by the new name and others also thought that artists under Big Hit Entertainment such as BTSand TXTwill be called 'HYBE' artists.
However to clear things up, some netizens had come up with a well-explained 'before and after' graphic image that helped many to understand the entire situation easier.

Big Hit Entertainment is essentially the umbrella that holds their label and business. They intend to remove the word 'entertainment' to show that the entire corporation is transforming into a company which provides other various contents.
Aside from managing entertainment related businesses, they aim to expand their business into areas such as the travel as well as real estate industries.
As such, HYBE Corporation will be replacing the name 'Big Hit Entertainment' if it passes the shareholders meeting set to happen on March 30.
