We all know how hard it is to get tickets for fanmeetings or even concerts to meet our favorite K-Pop idols and many agencies out there are also trying their best to make sure tickets are sold to fans through proper methods.
Not long ago, it had came to the attention of TXT's fans, MOA that Big Hit Entertainment had introduced a new facial recognition policy for their future fan club raffle.
In order to participate in the fan club raffle, it is stated that MOA would have to register a picture of them for future verification.
It is mentioned that the new method was introduced after noticing the large amount of scalpers in the black market trying to scam money from fans. It had also later appeared on the Korean news.
Despite such measures introduced, many MOA felt that the new policy is an invasion of privacy and did not like the new idea. Others thought that it is what the agency has to do to prevent scalpers from selling tickets at a high price.
They had also trended hashtag on Twitter, hoping that Big Hit will change the newly introduced method for the fan club raffle.
As of 5:15 pm KST, there are more than 40,500 tweets with the hashtag.
TXT will be holding their 1st fanmeeting "Dream X Together" on Mar. 7 and 8 in iMarket Hall.
What do you think of the newly introduced policy?
