BLACKPINK had successfully turned the heat up on the first day of “Coachella 2019”.

As the first K-Pop group, BLACKPINK was invited to perform in the annual music festival. In previous years, top global singers such as Drake, Beyonce, Eminem and so on had also graced the music festivals themselves.

It was noted that the girls had performed for a total of 60 minutes with 13 songs, allowing music lovers to enjoy their catchy music and rhythm-bouncing dance tracks. BLACKPINK began the show with their famous track ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ and continued to amaze the audience with ‘FOREVER YOUNG’.

They continued to lift up the atmosphere with their powerful dance moves and amazing live vocals especially during their latest title track ‘KILL THIS LOVE’.

Even though not all of their fans were able to attend “Coachella 2019”, Youtube had specially live-streamed their performance through a billboard in Times Square. Fans were extremely grateful for the live-stream and hope that it will also be available on Apr. 19 when the girls perform once again.

Aside from the fans who seemed to be enjoying the music festival, the girls also appeared to be extremely excited performing in front of such large amount of people.

Rose had uploaded a video of Jennie and her enjoying the music before their actual performance on her Instagram.
