BTS Becomes New Artist To Sell Most Records In First Week Of Release In Japan
It’s probably not that surprising to people anymore whenever BTS sets a new K-Pop record. In fact, it would have been naive to expect anything less from the global K-Pop superstars.
According to the Oricon Charts, just recently after their release of ‘Face Yourself‘ in Japan, BTS set another record by having 282,000 copies of the album sold in its first week of sales. No other K-Pop group or solo artist has been able to achieve such an accomplishment in Japan except Kara, who sold 275,000 copies of ‘Super Girl‘ back in 2012.
As scheduled, BTS is expected to finish off their tour in Japan by holding another concert and fan meeting on the upcoming 18th.
