Prior to their comeback, it looks like BTS has invited fans to join them in the time of reminiscing the activities and achievements they had done over the past 6 years.
On Feb. 22, Big Hit Entertainment shared the announcement of “ARMYPEDIA”, a global campaign that invites ARMY from all over the world. For those who may be curious, “ARMYPEDIA” is the combination of BTS’s fans, ARMY, and also Wikipedia. This campaign will officially begin starting from Feb. 25.
This “ARMYPEDIA” holds the records starting from the day when BTS debuted, June 13, 2013, until Feb. 21, 2019. A total of 2080 days will be included in the “ARMYPEDIA” and fans from all over the world would be able to find clues (QR codes) offline and online. Check out the official website here.
When fans scan a QR code found, they would be able to look at the pictures, videos and so on, and look back on the days which something significant had happened to BTS.
It was also reported that BTS had placed 7 teasers for “ARMYPEDIA” in 7 different cities. They are Seoul, Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, London, Paris and Hong Kong.
Fans have also been sharing pictures where they had seen the teasers in different cities.
Big Hit also continued to mention that this is a global campaign that can only be done by BTS as there are fans all over the world.
