BTS achieved a flawless all-kill in South Korean music charts after releasing their latest comeback single 'Boy With Luv', but somehow didn't manage to get a first place win on SBS's 'Inkigayo'.
Fans have been demanding an explanation from SBS as to why 'Boy With Luv' was omitted from their chart.

"Then what did you guys disclose on your official homepage? You never should have disclosed anything. Despite having met all the requirements of your criteria, you still can't explain to us why BTS was omitted and are talking like parrots. Did you guys omit them because the other groups would be at a disadvantage? You guys are now just blatant about it now."
SBS responded by saying that the reason why BTS did not win on their chart was because they have a different evaluation method, while also adding that all broadcasting stations have different criteria.
But what seems to be inconsistent is that if SBS's criteria evaluates from two weeks before the broadcasting date of 'Inkigayo', BTS should have been included. The recent 'Inkigayo' aired on April 21st. If we go two weeks back, that leaves us in the time period where 'Boy With Luv' was released.
Is SBS's explanation justifiable in any way?
