After BTS's global success, Big Hit Entertainment finally begin to reap the fruits of their labor. While everyone was busy telling them off saying they were never going to make it and stay as a B-grade boy band, they were busy focusing on what they do best, which is being themselves and going what they love to do with 'blood, sweat, and tears'.
The entertainment agency raked in a staggering amount of $85 Million in the year of 2017 alone.
The figures show a bit of a contrast when compared to the big three entertainment agencies' 2017 profit. SM earned $10 Million, YG $23 Million, and JYP $18 Million.
It seems that Big Hit Entertainment clearly knew what they were doing when they named their company.
BTS's fanbase ARMY only continues to grow at the moment and is one of the biggest factors that is responsible for the boy band's global 'big hit'.
