Building Owned By BIGBANG DaeSung Caught Up In Alleged Prostitution & Illegal Business Scandal
According to South Korean news agency Channel A, a building that is owned by BIGBANG member DaeSung is currently caught up in a growing scandal involving prostitution and other illegal businesses.
The building is located in the Gangnam district of Seoul, South Korea, and DaeSung purchased the building back in November 2017 for a whopping big price tag of 31 billion KRW.
According to the reports, the floors from the fifth to the eighth are currently under suspicions of being locations where illegal transactions and businesses are taking place. Reports have stated that those particular floors are always quiet and empty during the day time but are busy only during the night time until the AM. What was most surprising about the reports was that there was actually no way to access those floors as the elevators didn’t have buttons leading to them. In addition, reports have also stated that the eighth floor had iron doors.
When reporters began to ask neighboring tenants about those particular floors, they learned from the tenants’ statements that some of them were bars where women who drove luxury cars came in and out.
According to some of the tenants, several women were seen many times coming out from those floors to greet groups of men driving luxury cars as well. When a reporters from Channel A attempted to get inside, they were denied access as only people with invites were allowed in.
The news agency has stated that an insider who worked inside on one of those floors described the place as a prostitution shop.
DaeSung’s real estate agent has stated that the K-Pop idol is not aware of what types of businesses are being conducted and is merely the owner of the building. The agent also added that should they discover any illegal activities being conducted through investigations, DaeSung’s side will terminate their contracts with the tenants responsible.
Unfortunately, there are other real estate agents claiming that there was no way that DaeSung was unaware of what was happening inside the building. One agent stated:
“How would a building owner not know what is inside and what goes around?”
