Jung IlWoo is a popular Korean actor.

The actor made his debut in the hit sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick" (2006-2007) as one of the lead. He was chosen by over 250 other actors. This sitcom is a Korean favorite of all time. The actor became a popular actor after the drama.

Jung IlWoo started to gain popularity overseas with "The Return of Iljimae" (2009) and "49 Days" (2011). But it is with "Flower Boy Ramen Shop" (2011) and "The Moon That Embraces the Sun" (2012) that his popularity grew significantly. After these hit dramas, he pursued his career with dramas such as "Cinderella with Four Nights" (2016) and "Haechi" (2019). In 2020, he acts in the drama "Sweet Munchies".

The actor acted in non-Koreans dramas including Thai and Chinese Dramas making him a popular actor overseas.

Jung IlWoo is a close friend with top Hallyu star Lee MinHo. They have a longtime friendship, to be precise since their school days. They both don't drink and share common hobbies. They were both born in 1987.

The two actors were together in the terrific car accident of 2006. Both of them were seriously injured and have been hospitalized for months. They still both have sequelae. Jung IlWoo was diagnosed with a cerebral aneurysm. The actor was exempted from mandatory military service but still decided to enlist. He finished his service in November 2018.
