Shannon is also an idol-trainee who had debuted before. She debuted in 2014 as a soloist under Core Contents Media (now known as MBK Entertainment). Her success didn’t meet the expectations, so she’s currently a trainee. As a last hope, she entered the “Kpop Star 6” ring, and it seems to be paying off. 1st – Jeon SoMi
Without a doubt, the most famous pre-debut trainee is SoMi of I.O.I. Surprised? She actually has yet to officially debut as an idol. Many mistake her as a debuted artist, because of her fame from “SIXTEEN”, “Produce 101”, I.O.I, “Unnies’ Slam Dunk 2”, concerts and more. However, she’s still considered a trainee under JYP Entertainment, and will be continuing her training to officially debut – as a girl group or soloist! As she continues to train, she will continue her broadcast appearances.
