Chinese Media Mocks K-Netizens As “Crayfish” And Defends BLACKPINK Lisa Against Racism
A while back, a few South Korean netizens left malicious comments regarding BLACKPINK member Lisa which caused fans and the international community to take action.
The K-netizens stated that Lisa looked like a Russian elf when wearing makeup and dying her hair in bright colors, but was only an average Thai girl without the makeup.
The international community called out the K-netizens for their blatant disrespect and racism towards South East Asian culture, and China seems to have joined in to criticize South Korea. One Chinese media labeled K-netizens as “crayfish”, a term used to describe someone who is unable to see or doesn’t listen to others.
