ChungAng University Student Union's Logo Too Similar To Kim JaeHwan's Fandom?

Fandom colors, logos and even lightsticks are sensitive issues among K-Pop fans and it is always better to avoid having too similar color or designs with other groups.

On Dec. 2, it came to the attention of Kim JaeHwan's fans, WIN:D, that the logo for the 62nd student union of ChungAng University is too similar to theirs.

Many noticed how their logo was very similar to the logo of Kim JaeHwan's fandom when it was first announced back in February this year.

Taking a closer look at the official lightstick of Kim JaeHwan's, many also could see how there is a smiley face on the button of the lightstick.

It seems like the 62nd student union also has a smiley face at the side of their logo.

One had also brought up the issue to the student union but here is what the student union had replied to the issue.

A person had asked if they know about how similar their logo is to one particular idol and here was what they had replied. They mentioned that they had looked up on the issue and admitted that there were similarities with the logo. They felt that it was a coincidence and apologized for the unfortunate incident.

Seeing the response from the student union, there were some WIN:D who were unhappy with the response as they felt that the solution to the situation was lacking.

Some said that it is possible to have similar ideas but felt that the student union should have also thought about changing the logo now instead of saying that it is an unfortunate situation.

Kim JaeHwan is said to be making a comeback on Dec. 12 with his 2nd mini album "MOMENT".
