CLC, who has captured the hearts of so many people with their powerful performance and distinctive concepts that the group has built over the years through ‘BLACK DRESS’, ‘No’, ‘ME(美)’, have made their comeback after a one year break with their new song ‘HELICOPTER’.
With that, CLC held an online media showcase to demonstrate what they have prepared for, for the past year.
‘HELICOPTER’ is a trap pop and EDM Powerhouse track, co-produced by Shin Hyuk, who worked with Justin Bieber, EXO, DEAN's album, in accordance with a global hit maker Melanie Joy Fontana, who worked with BTS, TWICE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and more. Moreover, Jang YeEun was listed on the lyricist credit as well.

This song, which inspires its listener by questioning the ‘curiosity for the future’ and narrates how CLC finds the solution to this problem in their own unique ways, describing limitless curiosity for a new place and asks countless questions about oneself. The title of the song ‘HELICOPTER’ serves as a metaphor for CLC’s taking off to the world with confidence by conquering the fear of the future and facing new challenges.

The powerful and dynamic performances that CLC has showcased previously were taken to a new level. CLC’s performance was stronger than ever and despite the complicated and fast dance lines, CLC was flawless and the group has surely have demonstrated through their performance how they have grown as a group.
In particular, the key dance move that resembles a helicopter taking off, which works so harmoniously with the lyrics, will be showcased throughout the performance to increase the viewer’s attention.
In this release, in addition to giving off so much energy, CLC has returned with better music and visual effects that are more mature and modern. They show off their multifaceted charm with colorful dresses and lighting, and they perfected the pilot look, intensifying the excitement of their fans who have long waited for their comeback.
When asked why they have only prepared for one song instead of a full album, SeungHee replied,
“We wanted to show our grown selves to the fans and we wanted to solemnly focus on ‘HELICOPTER’ because we knew it was that powerful.”
