Club Burning Sun Claims The Woman Who Was “Drugged” Was Actually Stealing Drinks And Assaulting Employees
After a CCTV footage showing a woman being dragged out by a man at Burning Sun, a club that used to be owned by BIGBANG member SeungRi, South Korean netizens initially thought that she was a victim of sexual assault after being drugged.
Club Burning Sun responded quickly to these highly serious accusations on Instagram.
According to the club, the woman who was being dragged out was causing a disturbance to the business. They’ve stated that she was a Thai woman who was stealing drinks at the VIP table and assaulting employees after being caught and confronted about it.
It has been revealed that the case regarding the woman has been closed with her paying a fine in the end. In addition, South Korean broadcasting station KBS has reported that SeungRi resigned as the owner of the club one week ago.

However, judging by the comments from South Korean netizens on Burning Sun’s Instagram post, it seems that no one is buying their story or apology. Some of the comments are making new accusations including that the club is owned by SeungRi only outwardly but is actually run by members of organized crime behind the scenes.
Investigations are currently on-going and the police still have not yet released their official statement except promising to investigate thoroughly to the public.
But at the moment, the police themselves are currently being accused of being corrupt by netizens and whether any statement regarding the investigation from them will be convincing enough to the public is questionable as well.
