Rohan, Kpopmap MemberWondering where the PRISTIN members are now 4 years after their disband? Find out in this article.
Kay Sesoko, Kpopmap EditorPRISTIN was one of the most loved girl groups known for nailing every single aspect of their performance each time. Having debuted as a 10-member girl group in Mar. 2017, the group was active for 3 years before disbanding in May 2019.
The 3 years of activity take into account their pre-debut activities as PLEDIS Girlz.*
It's been about 4 years since the group disbanded and each member went their separate ways.
Let's find out what all the members are getting up to 4 years after their disbandment.
Note: Many members of the group go by different names than the names they used during their PRISTIN activities. Their current official names have been used in the headings with their former stage names added in brackets.
After PRISTIN disbanded, Lim NaYoung signed with SUBLIME in Aug. 2019, and focused on various mediums. She sang a number of K-Drama OSTs and also acted in a number of K-Dramas including titles like "Flower of Evil" (2020), "Imitation" (2021), and more. Most recently, she also participated in the virtual survival show "GIRL'S RE:VERSE" (2023).
She has just ended her contract with SUBLIME after 4 years with the agency.
Following PRISTIN's disbandment... In Nov. 2019, Kim MinKyeung (then known as Roa) debuted with the girl group HINAPIA under OSR Entertainment. However, the group was not active for long due to the company having difficulties thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. They disbanded after 9 months. Thereafter, she shifted her focus to modeling and acting. She's currently signed to YG KPLUS.
Similarly to Kim MinKyeung, GyeongWon (formerly known as Yuha) also joined HINAPIA after PRISTIN disbanded. Following the disbandment of HINAPIA, she also shifted to focus on modeling and is currently signed to Petite Concierge.
Yet another member who joined HINAPIA after PRISTIN disbanded is EunWoo. Since HINAPIA disbanded, she has focused on content creation and other activities. She has a YouTube channel where she uploads videos and has had guests like Cha HyunSeung (from programs like "Physical: 100" (2023) and "Single's Inferno"(2022)) and she even went on the dating program "Edge of Friendzone" (2022).
Yet another member who joined HINAPIA after PRISTIN disbanded is YaeBin (previously known as Rena). After HINAPIA's disbandment, it seems that YaeBin has also taken to modeling, judging by the stunning photos on her Instagram account.
Following the disbandment of PRISTIN, KyulKyung carried out her contract with Pledis Entertainment until she finally filed a termination notice. She made her debut as an actress in China in 2020. Her debut drama was "Miss Truth" (2020) and she has a number of works coming out in 2023 and in the future such as "Romance From Game Bug" (2023), "Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Zhu Ye" (2023), and more.
Following the disbandment of PRISTIN, Yehana stayed signed to Pledis Entertainment. She is still signed to the company and active on social media accounts posting singing covers and TikTok videos.
SungYeon is one of the only other members who stayed signed to Pledis Entertainment after PRISTIN disbanded. She is still signed to the company and made her solo debut in Nov. 2021. She's still making music and has even written and composed music for K-Pop groups like tripleS, Kep1er, SEVENTEEN, and more.
After PRISTIN disbanded, in 2020, Park XiYeon announced that she would be debuting as an actress. She joined the agency Sooyeongang Entertainment. She has acted in K-Dramas like "Dark Hole" (2021) and "Cheer Up" (2022).
Kyla was on hiatus in the group since 2017 until the group ultimately disbanded in 2019. In Sep. 2019, she became a YouTuber and also announced in 2020 that she'd be releasing solo music, too.
