Exclusive Review: A Capella Version Of 'Obsession', A First In "EXO PLANET#5 EXplOration" Malaysia

"EXOPLANET#5 EXplOration" organised by STARPLANET and presented by GETBATS was held in Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil on Dec. 14. This was EXO's SuHo, Chen, Kai, BaekHyun, ChanYeol, SeHun fourth concert in Malaysia. Before the concert started, many can feel that EXO-L was very excited and can’t wait to see EXO! They were always screaming and sang along with songs being played.

EXO opened the stage with a super cool truck stage effect. Unfortunately, members XiuMin and D.O were unable to perform in this concert due to military service but even when there were only 6 members, EXO-L was also very supportive for every performance, they were so amazing!

EXO members greeted EXO-L with “Apa Khabar (Hello)” one by one. BaekHyun also said he missed Malaysia’s EXO-L so much and hoped their fans enjoy the show. After the talk, they performed and followed by the members' solo stages.

Before performing, EXO asked EXO-L, “What are EXO to EXO-L?“ “Vitamin?” “Energy?” EXO said “EXO-L to EXO is ENERGY!”. They are so sweet~ EXO also brought some classic EXO’s songs which gave them a walk down the memory lane especially with 'Growl', at the night! EXO-L kept screaming and sang along with the fans support.

EXO-L also kept shouting 'Obsession' through the encore and hope that EXO can perform their new song but it was not included in the song list. However, EXO heard the wish! They did a cappella and dance of in a talk session with the wig and fancy hat that were given by EXO-L. With the wig, they really look like another version of X-EXO. By the way, EXO are so doted on EXO-L~

When performing the first encore song , BaekHyun and ChanYeol were so energetic that they kept running on the stage. EXO-L started to throw their gifts on stage to EXO, and they were also having fun with EXO-L. ChanYeol and SeHun took the phone from fans to take selfies and record videos. Those fans were the LUCKY ONE!

At the last talk session, ChanYeol asked EXO-L how to say “Kamsahamnida” in Malay? EXO-L said “Terima Kasih (Thank You)” and Chanyeol also followed but he pronounced as “Te-li-ma Kah-si” Too cute! ChanYeol said he could not wait to come back here. SeHun also said that Malaysia is his favourite!

EXO-L totally enjoyed the show, and BaekHyun knew EXO-L was looking forwards for their next concert, he promised that if EXO-L really wanted to meet EXO again, they will bring their new song and new album back to Malaysia. SuHo also stated that too. So, EXO-L! Let us look forward to EXO's return to Malaysia next year with their new album!
