6 months after their very first concert in January 2020, this K-Pop group had made 2 comebacks with a mini album "Continuous" and single album "Mayday" release. Their rising popularity not just in Korea but also overseas had allowed them to once again clinch music show wins for each comeback. Some K-Pop fans might have already heard of them and some are standing on the border whether to be part of their fandom.
If you are still wondering who they are, they are none other than VICTON.
On July 12, they had held their "2020 VICTON ONTACT LIVE" through their official V-Live + channel and it was a blast for both the 7 boys as well as their fans, ALICE.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, many K-Pop groups had turned to holding concerts, fanmeetings and showcases online as a medium to perform and communicate with their fans.
While one of Kpopmap editors was watching the ontact live, it was strange yet fulfilling to see VICTON performing through the screens of laptops, computers as well as TVs (if you connect them).
They started off with their own version of 'Begin Again' and it is a track that was initially sang by them as well as Huh Gak prior to their debut. It has been more than 3 years since ALICE had heard them sing to it and it had definitely kicked started the ontact live well.

Aside from the song, their matching uniform inspired outfits was one of the key points to the evening too. All of them looked amazing in them and even through the screen, their visuals are on top as usual.
They continued to serenade ALICE with 'Beautiful' before greeting them and talking about how they were all excited for the live performances. It had been more than 6 months since they had the chance to see them face to face and they could only hope for the improvement in situation.
Continuing to lift up the atmosphere, VICTON sang 'All I Know' as well as performed to 'nostalgic night' and 'Nightmare'. In between, hilarious and comedic VCR that was pre-recorded was played, giving ALICE a chance to get to know the boys even more.

Many would recall that for a period of time, VICTON was active as 6 members and with the return of SeungWoo, they had also recorded the new version of several tracks. One of them was also 'New World' - a track that was highly raved by ALICE.
The 7-member version of 'New World' was noted to be included only in the CD version of "Mayday" single album, making it the very first time where ALICE was able to see the full stage version too!

With the rise in excitement, VICTON continued to take the ontact live to a next level as they had prepared special unit stages too!
SeJun and SeungSik had come together and covered 'Fairytale' by Melomance. SuBin, SeungWoo as well as HanSe had put on a hip-hop stage an original written track by them. Finally, Chan and ByungChan had also covered Jo JungSuk's 'Aloha' which is a popular OST of hit drama "Hospital Playlist".
Perhaps one of the perks of watching a concert is also the fact that you get to see the idols wear different outfits!

VICTON had a change in outfit and many had also recognised it back during "2020 KCON:TACT SUMMER". The lovely white colored outfit as well as the dark contrast of the stage had definitely allowed the boys to stand out more than before.
Performing to 'White Night', 'Time of Sorrow', 'Farewell' as 'Petal', VICTON did not fail to express the emotions they had as well as the sincerity through their facial expressions.
Days before the ontact live, PlayM Entertainment had also held an event, requesting for ALICE to send videos of them waving their official lightstick. No one knew how the event was going to take place but it looked like the agency had done it once again by compiling each and every submission through the screen at the back.

VICTON was touched by the amount of fans who had participated in the event and also commented how they could truly feel as if ALICE was together with them by their sides.
Almost coming to an end, they performed to their title tracks 'Howling' as well as 'Mayday' before returning for an encore stage with 'Flower'!

2 hours might seem like a long time for some but for a concert, 2 hours is definitely not enough! However, good things had to come to an end and it was time to say goodbye.
While given the opportunity to hold a concert, there were definitely bittersweet moments for both VICTON as well as ALICE since it could not be held offline. At the same time, it also had given them the assurance and comfort that they are so many ALICE out there all over the world supporting them and loving the music which they had and will continue to make.
