There is always a first for everything and especially for K-Pop idols, the word 'first' could mean a lot to them. 1st mini album, 1st fanmeeting, 1st chart-in on music streaming site, 1st win on music show and of course, 1st solo concert and so on.
All of these happened in a short period of 2 months time for VICTONafter having their comeback for 5th mini album "nostalgia" back at the start of November 2019. All of the songs from the mini album made it into Melon Music Chart when it was first released and it so happened on member ByungChan's 23rd birthday (Korean age), they managed to clinch their very first win on "THE SHOW".
Soon enough, they had also announced their 1st ever solo concert "New World" that took place at Olympic Hall on Jan. 4 & 5. Tickets were snatched within 5 minutes and many of their fans, ALICE was complaining about the shortage of seats, proving their rising popularity.
Our editor was lucky enough to get a ticket and headed down on Jan. 5 with a hopeful heart to witness the first concert of VICTON.

Opening the stage with 'New World', ALICE found themselves screaming especially when they noticed how they were wearing uniforms that emphasized their stunning physique and jaw dropping visuals.
They continued with 'What time is it?' before officially greeting ALICE with bright smiles on their faces. Seeing how the concert hall was filled with ALICE, all of the members were excited and nervous at the same time. Moving on with 'Sunrise', 'Don't Turn Around' and 'Your Smile And You', VICTON continued to do their best in performing for ALICE who had waited for this moment for a long time.
After a change in outfit, they returned to the stage and performed to 'Take It Away' as well as 'EYEZ EYEZ'.

Perhaps one of the most anticipated moments of a solo concert of one K-Pop group is most probably solo stages of each and every member.
Maknae SuBin blew the minds of ALICE when he rose to stage while wearing a white shirt that was wrapped with harness and leather pants. He had performed to Ariana Grande's '7 Rings', showing off the sexy side of him that many were unable to see till now.
Main dancer Chan took over the stage with his performance of 'Eyes on You' that was written by him. His sleek dance moves and soothing voice caused many to squeal especially with his charismatic movements.

Switching the atmosphere to a light-hearted one, ByungChan covered 'Oh Little Girl' with his adorable smiles and smooth dance moves. Almost at the end of his performance, he threw candies to ALICE too!
Next up, SeJun caused many to jaw drop because of the stage that he had planned out for the concert. Covering 'River' with an intricate choreography and hint of sexiness, ALICE was screaming when they saw him appeared with a red laced ribbon covering his eyes.
Sealed With Kiss
We also cannot forget to mention how main vocal SeungSik had caused ears to melt because of his sweet and amazing voice for 'See You Again' by Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa.
Romantic Utopia
Finally, rapper HanSe proved that he was able to 'tear' the stage with a song written by him 'Black Dog'. He had first appeared with a black long hood and after taking it off, it was revealed that he was wearing a see through top with fur coat!
That was not all as it was revealed that they were only half way through the concert!
VICTON continued with 'Remember Me', 'nostalgic night', 'Blank', 'I'm fine', 'Flower', 'Time Of Sorrow', 'Farewell', and 'Here I Am'.

Once again, VICTON was tricked (yet again) by the staff when they thought they were supposed to take photos with ALICE. A video of their journey from debut to now was played on the screen and it soon caused the members to burst into tears.
Aside from VICTON, no one would probably know the full story behind the pain and hardship which they had been through but for ALICE who was present during the concert, it was absolutely hard breaking for them to see the members breaking down into tears. No one can deny the fact that the turning point for them was when X1's Han SeungWoo and ByungChan entered Mnet "Produce X 101".
It would have definitely been a different situation if all 7 members were performing in the concert but the current circumstances did not allow such things from happening.

While singing to 'Light', some mentioned how they had heard their leader (Han SeungWoo) singing to more than just his part. It was also that exact moment when the members broke down into tears even more while standing at the extended stage which was lifted high up.
Perhaps Han SeungWoo was singing live somewhere in the concert hall or perhaps it was pre-recorded. No one would know for sure but many know that his place will always be available and ALICE will always welcome him back with open arms.
During the part when the members shared their feelings, Chan's words left a huge impact on probably most of the ALICE out there. He mentioned that it is not an 'end' but rather 'and' which somewhat gave ALICE an assurance about their future activities.

For the encore stage, they lifted up the atmosphere once again with 'Hands Up' as well as 'Because of You'. The moment of them singing and having fun made many realise that they were born to be on stage and enjoy the spotlight given to them.
The members also went around freely, greeting ALICE and even throwing them VICTON 'cash' that were rather valuable (?) as many fans were hoping to catch one of it!

Finally, the concert came to an end and it was hard to say goodbye to the 6 of them. During the 3 and half hour duration, many could be learned from the VICTON members individually and perhaps that was something unique to the group. The hard work they had put in together and the never ending perseverance to improve as a group were respectable.

Just like how we had previously wrote about ByungChan's solo fanmeeting, no one knows what the future holds for them but together with the love they have for music, a humble attitude and strong teamwork, they are definitely going to soar higher than before.
