EXO's SuHo Defines His Personal Style As "Kku-An-Kku": Here's What It Means

EXO's leader SuHo has officially made a grand solo comeback with his 2nd mini-album "Grey Suit", much to the joy of fans all over the world. Besides being a musical masterpiece, SuHo's comeback also featured some incredible styling, which had fans swooning over his amazing sense of fashion.

Recently, SuHo appeared on the YouTube channel "hello82" for their special "Datadrop" segment, where the star answered some fun and interesting questions entirely in English. It is here that SuHo revealed his favourite kind of style, the one he prefers the most: "kku-an-kku".

When asked about his favourite outfit, he shared a photo of himself in a white and red Nike sweatshirt, paired with cream trousers and matching sneakers, adding that it is his favourite because it is comfy and looks cool. He called this style "kku-an-kku" before explaining that it refers to an effortless look. The key to achieving this style is to look like you randomly put things together, but it ended up looking perfect nonetheless.

"Kku-an-kku" is actually an abbreviation for “꾸민 듯 안 꾸민듯”, which means looking like you didn't try to dress up but you look dressed up regardless. You might have heard of this term before in "Yumi's Cells" where YuMi's fashion cell tries to dress YuMi (played by Kim GoEun) up in the "kku-an-kku" style for a date.

SuHo was then asked about his favourite airport fashion, which once again turned out to be the perfect example of "kku-an-kku" as he was wearing luxury brands but looked casually comfortable. He also revealed that he doesn't wear perfume because he loves his natural scent, which is perfectly in line with his "kku-an-kku" philosophy.
