Fans Of BL Webtoon "Semantic Error" Are Enthusiastically Discussing Its Upcoming K-Drama Adaptation

Web novel turned webtoon, anime and audio drama, the popular BL story "Semantic Error" is now getting a K-Drama adaptation!

In recent years, BL has become more and more normalised in mainstream entertainment, which makes now the perfect time for a drama adaptation of one of the most popular BL web novels ever. "Semantic Error" tells the romance of the game developer Choo SangWoo and the designer Jang JaeYoung. Choo SangWoo is an "outsider" who is inflexible and keeps strictly to the rules. He is a student of the Computer Engineering Department. Jang JaeYoung is the campus star and an "insider" who has a model-like body and handsome looks. He is a student of the Design Department. Their lives get entangled slowly but surely as they explore their true feelings towards each other.

The K-Drama adaptation of "Semantic Error" is scheduled for begin broadcasting in December of 2021. An open audition was held for the casting of the drama, allowing many new talented artists to show their potential. While no announcement has been made revealing the cast, expectations are high for the same. The drama will have 8 episodes with 25 minutes per episode.

Some fans have been creating their own dream cast for the drama!

Others simply cannot imagine any real people being handsome enough to portray their favourite 2D characters.
