On July 1, the news of I.O.I reuniting was confirmed by a representative.
It was said that Kim SeJeong, Choi YooJung, ChungHa, Kim SoHye, Ju KyulKyung, Jung ChaeYeon, Kim DoYeon, Kang MiNa and Lim NaYoung will be coming back together. Unfortunately, Jeon SoMi and Yoo YeonJung will not be joining the reunion.
Additionally, it was reported that Swing Entertainment will be managing the upcoming activities of I.O.I whereas Studio Blu will be in charged of the production for their new album.
For those who might not have known, Swing Entertainment was the management for Wanna One. However, they had received many negative feedback from fans due to various issues.
With that being said, fans of I.O.I became slightly worried as they also know for a fact that Swing Entertainment will also be managing the debuting group from Mnet "Produce X 101".
Some of them left comments on online communities, sharing their concern.
Idol Issue
They felt that the agency is rather small and unable to handle such an increase in amount of groups. Some also mentioned that currently Kim JaeHwan is also under Swing Entertainment. Others also hope that they wished IZ*ONE's current label, Off the Record was in charged of the management.
