The Super Bowl is no doubt a major event in the U.S that generates millions of viewers who aren't even regular football watchers.
The commercials and the shows that the sports event produces are some of the most entertaining things to watch. In fact, many people are usually hyped up during the Super Bowl season because of the fun commercials. And others are hyped because of the amazing concerts that are laced with the biggest names in the music industry such as Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, and etc.
Former EXO member Kris Wu is an important artist at the moment for both the U.S and China. Some may say there are political motives behind the whole thing but whatever the case, the former K-Pop idol is an ambassador to the U.S who is also extremely influential in the Chinese consumer market.
His presence at the recent event seems to be a way for the U.S to further promote the Super Bowl to the Chinese people. He performed his hit singles 'Juice' and 'Deserve' during the show. 'Deserve', which features U.S rapper Travis Scott, hit number one on the iTunes chart, making him the first Chinese artist ever to accomplish such an endeavor.
