According to South Korean news agency Ilgan Sports, K-Pop girl groups who are competing on Mnet’s ‘Queendom’ reportedly have to pay for their stages.

Reports stated that ‘Queendom’ did not have a music director as part of the staff, and because of this, the girl groups and their respective agencies were responsible for stage preparations themselves, which would entail hiring choreographers and music arrangers using money out of their own pockets.

However some of the singers have stated that despite having to use their own money to prepare for the stages on the show, they felt it was a good investment.

Of course, other singers have also expressed that money was a bit of an issue.

Currently, the participants of 'Queendom' include AOA, (G)I-DLE, Lovelyz, MAMAMOO, Oh My Girl, and Park Bom.

How do you feel about idol groups on ‘Queendom’ having to pay for their own stages?

It stinks but is any one surprised by this some of these music shows can be really sketchy...i did watch a few episodes but i couldn't get past Park Bom being part of it as the concept was really for groups not solo artistes, now if any of the other members of 2NE1 had joined her then wow count me in as that would have been kinda epic...
