“Haechi” is a historical drama set in Joseon period.
Jung IlWoo is a well-known actor. He finished his military service and it will be his first project after being discharged. Haechi (also called Haetae) is a legendary creature in Korean mythology. It looks like a lion with scales with horns on its forehead. In Joseon, the statues of Haechi were used often, it was believed to protect the city and give the order. If you visit Korea, in the palaces, you will be able to see these statues. Haechi is also the symbol of Seoul.
