On April 28, K-Pop fans witnessed another girl group making their debut and they are none other than HOT ISSUE.
Kpopmap was invited to attend their offline media showcase and we are more than happy to share with you some of the exclusive information as well as the gorgeous photos!
Debuting with "ISSUE MAKER," the girls appeared on stage while performing to their B-side track 'Hide In The Dark’.

It was an emotional song and according to the girls who later shared more about it, it is a track that talked about a person going through difficult times.
After a short moment, they returned on stage for photo time. They started off with group photos before breaking out into individual photos.
Each of the members showed off their personality through their one-of-a-kind poses.

Finally, we got to hear them speak!
The members introduced themselves before talking more about their debut album.
A total of 5 tracks are included and the title track is none other than 'GRATATA' which is a powerful dance track that will make you want to bounce with the beat.
The other B-side tracks include 'Dunga Dunga,' 'Hide In The Dark,' 'Purple,' and 'We Go'. Each of the tracks showed off the different sides of HOT ISSUE and through the mini album, fans will be able to see how diverse their music spectrum is.
YeWon shared her thoughts about the group name and mentioned that just like their group name, they want to become a group that is making hot issues.

HyeongShin also explained that they do not have positions because each of the members is good at singing, dancing, and even performing. As such, they think that they can be considered as a group with all-rounders.
YeWon mentioned that fans should focus on their powerful and dynamic performance as it is something which they are really good at.
Later for the showcase, the girls performed their introduction stage as well as their title track, 'GRATATA'.

They did not disappoint and 'burn' the stage with their passion. The choreography is fierce and many moments showed how they have transformed into snipers and 'attacked' with their charisma.
Allowing the media to know more about the girls, the MC asked who had left the deepest impression on them when they saw each other for the first time.
Mayna shared that it was YeBin who had left a deep impression on her as she had first seen her in the practice studio. She was awed by how good she is at dancing.

As for DaNa, she chose HyeongShin as the member who had left the deepest impression on her.

Since both of them were from the same school, DaNa already knew HyeongShin as a pretty senior and felt really surprised when she found out later that they were going to be in the same team.
When it came to the question of role models, maknae DaIn took many by surprise when she shared that her role model is Jessi!

She looked up to Jessi's confidence and stage presence and hoped that she would be able to become like her one day.
For those who do not know, HOT ISSUE is produced by the former Cube Entertainment co-founder, Hong SeungSung. As such, many were also curious to know if he had shared any piece of advice with the girls.

With that being said, NaHyun mentioned that they were told that the most important thing to remember is always to be grateful and humble to the people around them.
They indeed feel pressured as the first group produced by Hong SeungSong but believed that with their talents and teamwork, there is no doubt that they will not disappoint.

Closing up the showcase, the girls mentioned that they want to be known as a group that is multi-talented and wish many people would get to know their name through this promotion.
They also did not forget to ask many to look forward to their future promotion as they will come up with a wide variety of content.
With their passion, youthful energy, and limitless potential, HOT ISSUE is definitely one of the rookies of 2021 that many should keep an eye on.
