iKON member Koo JunHoe has been in two controversies recently, one involving uploading a photo of a gift from Kitano Takeshi, a Japanese film director and actor known to have anti-Korean sentiments, and the other for calling Taiwanese fans Chinese.
While he released an official apology on social media, he apologized to fans once again during a press conference on October 1st.
When asked how YG Entertainment CEO reacted to Koo JunHoe's recent troubles, he replied saying
"I told my fellow group members and Mr. Yang that I was sorry and felt ashamed of what I did. Mr. Yang told me to be more cautious and alert from now on, and to take time and think about what I did."
